Authentic chop suey from the "Dai Pai Dongs" of Kowloon. The dish is a mixture of shredded pork, Chinese mushrooms and beansprouts panfried in soya sauce and garlic.
The City :
Kowloon is a peninsula that sits opposite to Hong Kong Island. It offers a fabulous view of the harbour; especially at night.
Kowloon is famous for its many street vendors on the side streets where one can hunt for bargains. Along side these vendors, there are numerous food stalls or "Dai Pai Dong" where the locals congregate and have their meals. Our Kowloon noodle dish derives from these eating places.
