The City :
Kwung Tung, which is now better known as Guangzhou or in the past as Canton, is one of China's oldest cities. Guangzhou is located at the mouth of the Pearl River and it is known as the "City of Flowers".
Guangzhou is also the birth place of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen who was the founding father of modern China. He led a revolution that overturned the Qing Dynasty and established the Republic of China.
